It's the fifth Friday of the month, so a Tag Friday for us all over at A Vintage Journey!
When I saw this stamp set, I thought of crazy Dali. Dali is an artist with extraordinary talent and imagination. He has a unique ability to create a style that is both personal and recognizable. I really like his work "La persistencia de la memoria". He was born on May 11, 1904. So I marked his birthday in the upper left corner.
I started with a tag covered with a layer of white gesso before spraying 5 colors of Distress Oxide Spray across the tag. Next a quick spritz of water over the entire tag.
When it dry enough. Stamping the images on the tag and watercolor paper. Then cutting the images and coloring them with watercolor.
I put a piece of transparent plastic on the back of the glasses. It looks so cool.

回覆刪除Absolutely Fantastic Tag , Ann . Dali 's creative imagination knew no bounds and I find his work fascinating and intriguing and always mad crazy . Love that you have drawn your inspiration for your tag from your love of Dali's work . The transparent plastic you ahev used for the lens of the goggles is a stroke of genius and does indeed look sooooo cool!
