Stars and/or Stripes

 

Hi everyone, welcome to my last post and project as a spotlighted guest in this month's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenges. I am honored to be invited to guest with them this month, and I would like to say a huge "thank you for inviting me" and let you know how much fun it was to be part of an amazing design team! I really enjoyed it! This week's challenge theme is :

 Stars and/or Stripes 


For the background, I sprayed the Distress Spray Stain directly onto the watercolor paper. One is red-toned, and the other is blue-toned. Then, put the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Stripes on the blue one and wipe off some of the ink through the stencil with a damp paper towel. Die-cutting with Sizzix Falling Stars that have been in my stash for a long time. I die-cut the red one using Star dies in my stash and sew randomly with a handheld sewing machine.



Tear off pieces of corrugated cardboard of appropriate size and coat them with gesso at random. Add some decorations from Tim Holtz Idea-ology as the finishing touch. The sentiment is Tim Holtz Tiny Text.

At the Beach

 

Hi everyone, welcome to my fourth post and project as a spotlighted guest at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenges this Month. This week the challenge theme is :

 At the Beach 


I stamped the images using the AALL & CREATE Sea Essentials stamp set with Archival Ink Jet Black. Then color them with Distress Ink. Cut the lighthouse and flowers with scissors.

For the background, I sprayed the Distress Oxide Spray and Distress Spray Stain directly onto the watercolor paper. When it dried, I stamped randomly using the AALL & CREATE Sea Essentials stamp set. Distress the edges using Paper Distresser. The two seagulls are die-cutting from Impression Obsession. I've had this die cut in my stash for a long time. The sentiment is Tim Holtz Tiny Text.

Food and/or Drink

Hi everyone, welcome to my third appearance over at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. It's so honored to be a Spotlight Guest Designer. This week's challenge theme is :

 Food and/or Drink 

For the background, I used the Wrinkle-Free Technique with Distress Ink Pad. Cut out the outline with scissors randomly. Then, stamped using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps FRESHLY BREWED BLUEPRINT and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps NOTEWORTHY stamp sets. Distressed the edges. I used AALL & CREATE Die-Cutting Die Set - Splodazzlers and a Sizzix Coffee Set embossing folder to add layers.

Masculine

 

Hi everyone, welcome to my second post and project as a spotlighted guest at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenges this month. This week, the challenge theme is :

 Masculine 


For the background, I used two colors of Distress Oxide Spray spray on watercolor paper. When it dried, I embossed it with the Sizzix Numbered 3D embossing folder. Apply Prima Metallique Wax to the convex surface with my finger. Use Paper Distresser to scrape the edges. Then I added a typewriter image by CMS482 and some Tim Holtz Idea-ology to the background.

Add A Rainbow of Color

  

Hi everyone, I was invited by lovely Lols to guest this June and share five projects throughout the month linked to their Monday Challenges. It's so honored to be a Spotlight Guest Designer at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. This week, the challenge theme is :

Add A Rainbow of Color. 

Since it is the first Monday of a new month, the team is featuring products by a specific designer/company, and this week it is Dylusions. You don't have to use their products to join, but it is always fun if you do. 



I created this project using Dyan Reaveley Small Creative Journal, Dylusions Ink Spray, and Dyan Stencil. For the background, I used the Dylusions Ink Spray. Then I applied Distress Texture Paste through the Dylusions Stars Small stencil randomly. When it was dry, I created a silhouette of models against a vibrant rainbow background using Dylusions Stencils - Annie and black acrylic paint. I hope you like it.
