CHRISTMAS DAY tutorial

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by today.
I've got a quick tutorial for you on how I made my project for our current challenge : Winter Fun with the added twist Snowmen. Enjoy!

This is what my project looked like:

Step 1 : I made some homemade Glitter Paste with Ranger TEXTURE PASTE TRANSPARENT GLOSS and gold glitter.

Step 2 : Take the FESTIVE stencil and place over the card stock. Blob some texture paste and scrape across the stencil with a palette knife. If you scrape firmly you will get a thinner layer. If you layer it thickly and lift gently you get a lovely thick design. Wash or thoroughly wipe the stencil right away so the texture paste doesn’t dry on it and wreck it.

Step 3 : Spray a small amount of two inks onto the cardstock.

Step 4 : Die-Cut Snowman with different colors of paper. Painting with Aleene's TRUE SNOW Paint.

Step 5 : Stamped the Concord & 9th Plaid Background Stamp and place it on top of panel and sew pieces together along all four sides.

Altered Bottle tutorial

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by today.
I've got a quick tutorial for you on how I made my project for our current challenge : Autumn with the added twist Leaves. Enjoy!

This is what my project looked like:

Step 1 : I started by preparing the surface with a couple of coats of white gesso, then added Inka Gold.

Step 2 : I used Perfect Pearls in my homemade glimmer spray to add a pretty layer of shimmer to kraft paper then crumpled the kraft paper to add some texture.

Step 3: I decorated the bottle with kraft paper and a torn strip of fabric, all glued in place then I tied around some string.

Step 4 : I stamped the leaves using Versa Mark Ink Pad then hot embossing with gold embossing powder. Painted the leaves with Color Burst powders.

Step 5 : Glued the leaves on the fabric and decorated with button and charm.

Steampunk Canvas

Hi everyone,
I used some metals and chipboards to create a canvase. It is so much fun to combine metal and chipboard creating a cohesive piece using Texture Paste, Paint, Rust Effect Paste and Spray. Hope you like it.
