Guesting at SimonSaysStamp Monday Challenges - Week 4

Hi everyone, welcome to my fourth post and project as a spotlighted guest at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenges this Month. This week the challenge theme is :

Not A Card

I created a project this week. Hope you like it.

For the background., I began with the Crackle Paste. Applied Texture Paste through the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Slate with a palette knife to create raised textured effects. Let dry and crackles with appear. I sprayed Distress Spray Stain-Hickory Smoke, Weathered Wood, Pumice Stone, and DistressOxide Spray-Pumice Stone to the background. The spray sinks into the cracks. When it dry, stamped randomly with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Faded Type. Tear a strip shape from TYPOGRAPHY Collage Paper and glue them onto the background.

For the flowerpot, I spray Distress Oxide Spray-Antique Linen and Vintage Photo on the watercolor paper. Die-cut with Sizzix Bigz Die - Planks by Tim Holtz and dry embossing with Tim Holtz Sizzix LUMBER 3D Embossing Folder. In order to deepen the wood grain, I used the black ink pad to directly paint the inside of the embossing folder. Then glue them onto black cardstock. Die-cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix POTTED Bigz Die

Die-cut the flowers and leaves from white cardstock using
Sizzix Thinlits Die Set - Wildflower Stems #1 and Garden Greens by Tim Holtz. Gently inked them with Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Ink by blending tool.

This is what it looks like when done.

Don't forget, if you would like to see more inspiration from the talented teamies over on the challenge blog and every week, one lucky random participant has the chance to win a $25 gift voucher from Simon Says Stamp and you can join in up to 5 times, which means you could have 5 chances to win.
