Tag Friday at A Vintage Journey

Hi everyone,
My blog has been quite neglected of late but back today with a project for our Tag Friday post at A Vintage Journey. I have been struggling with both time and motivation to create recently. Hopefully, as the spring arrives I will find more time and a little creativity.

I started with the background. Using Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints and Paper Artsy Crackle Glaze to create the crackle effect.

Next, I stamped the main image using two different ink pads of VersaFine CLAIR. I love the mixed color. I also stamped the suit and numbers on the tag using Archival black ink pad and sewing the edge.

Then, adhering those pieces to the center and the sentiment on the bottom of the tag. Adding a couple of the metal gears and stars and the tag is finished!

So please hop over to A Vintage Journey and be inspired by all the beautiful tags the Creative Guides have created this month!
Thanks so much for stopping by & have a nice day!
Until Next Time,
Hugs & Love,

  1. What a wonderful crackled background you created for your very masculine tag Ann! Love the clock face with the hat and jacket collar (such fun stamps!) Great colors chosen in the gray and green, the touch of metal with the gears and stars and the fun vintage business ad! Julia xx

  2. Love this tag Ann ! It's amazing !

  3. A fantastic tag, Ann . Loving the pops of Teal with the vintage grey and black. Great use of the ideology bits too .

  4. I hope that spring will kick your mojo back into full action, though by the look of this tag it's already on the way. The crackled background is fabulous, and I love how all those cogs and gears lead your eye around the tag.
