Tag Friday at A Vintage Journey

Hi everyone,
My blog has been quite neglected of late but back today with a project for our Tag Friday post at A Vintage Journey. I have been struggling with both time and motivation to create recently. Hopefully, as the spring arrives I will find more time and a little creativity.

I started with the background. Using Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints and Paper Artsy Crackle Glaze to create the crackle effect.

Next, I stamped the main image using two different ink pads of VersaFine CLAIR. I love the mixed color. I also stamped the suit and numbers on the tag using Archival black ink pad and sewing the edge.

Then, adhering those pieces to the center and the sentiment on the bottom of the tag. Adding a couple of the metal gears and stars and the tag is finished!
