LTSCB Blog Hop - It's A Scramble!

Some parts of the world are experiencing cold weather and some are experiencing warm weather. Kinda scrambled, wouldn't you say?! The Love To Scrap! Challenge Blog is excited to bring you our "It's A Scramble" Blog Hop! We're being sponsored by the awesome River City Rubber Works! Hi everyone,
There is finally a little chill in Taiwan. I took my winter coat out of my closet. It's really cold outside, so I desided to stay in my workshop.

I really like this stamp set. These santas are so cute!! I embossing the snowflacks and using wrinkle free distress technique to make the background. I added some glitter glue on his hat edge. Hope you like it.

Merry Christmas - Guest Designer at A Vintage Journey

Welcome everyone!
I'm thrilled to be a guest designer at A Vintage Journey today. It' s an honour to be invited.
I was really pleased when I learned that the theme to work towards was ‘Baby you’re a firework’. I decided to make Christmas decor project.

I cover the whole canvas adding some black glitter glue and glitter and using sand embossing paste dabbed the edges. It's time for texture paste! My favorite way to add texture. The paste was used with the Tim Holtz Chevron stencil.

Spray the paper rattan and watercolor paper using Color Wash and Dylusions ink spray. Die cut the leaves.

My finishing touch was to use double sided adhesive tape to make glittery sentiments and little firework.

WARM wishes

Hi everyone,

I love snow, but Taiwan Snow occurs only at high elevation. It almost never snows in Taipei. I hope to have the opportunity to go to a trip to Hokkaido in winter.

 I embossing the snowfall using white embossing powder by the MFT's Snowfall background sramp and embossing the sentiment using sparkle embossing powder. Hope you like it!

Mandy老師『Say it BIG大字章』ATC交換活動

大家好:

上個月參加Mandy老師主辦的ATC交換，主題是"大字章"。

我傷腦筋的其實是背景，一直想嘗試之前沒有做過的技巧，於是腦袋裡一直浮現正在閱讀的 Dina Wakley Art Journal FREEDOM Chapter 5 裡的 Re-inker Background技法以及 Dyan Reaveley Distinctly Dylusional 這本書的 Scribbling Layers技法。我覺得這兩種技法有點雷同，只不過一個是用Re-inker畫圈再噴水;一個是先噴一點水再用Ink Sprays畫圈再噴水，最後用紙巾吸掉多餘的顏料。

我這次結合了兩種技法，有些自然暈染跑出蜘蛛絲，有些用紙巾吸掉顏料讓色彩柔和一點，每一張都不一樣，這就是創作的樂趣。

我有很多大字章，為了配合背景，我挑了 IndigoBlu Discover your Passion 這組印章裡的其中一個字章"LOVE to CREATE". 真的是喜愛創作!!希望大家會喜歡!
