Merry Christmas

Hi everyone,
Today is the start of a new challenge over at A Vintage Journey. Lovely Sandy is hosting this month's challenge and her chosen theme is 'Holly Jolly Christmas' and Sandy says 'This month Anything Goes as long as it says Christmas and is in one of our preferred styles of vintage, shabby, mixed media, art journaling, industrial, timeworn or steampunk.' I've created a snow-covered hut for Sandy's fabulous theme. This is a project that I have always wanted to complete. Thanks to Sandy for the wonderful theme that gave me the motivation to complete. Hope you like it.

The first step is to cut the house with a Tiny House die. Prepare the roof by coloring the piece of cardboard with Walnut Stain Distress Paint. Spread the Grit-Paste through the Tim Holtz stencil. Once the Grit-paste has dried, sprinkle Hickory Smoke Distress Spray. Dry with Heat tools and use Archival jet black ink pad at random over on the stencil.

I used small Christmas trees sprinkled with Color Wash, apply some Collage Medium and then sprinkle with Distress Dry Glitter Rock Candy. Sprinkle linen Ribbon using Distress Stain Spray Candied Apple as the snowman's scarf.

I prepared some Christmas tree decorations and homemade gift boxes put them inside the hut. Spread with Grit-Paste on the roof and then immediately pour the Crystal Dust. I like the frozen snow effect.

Thank you for joining me today and don't forget to hop on over to A Vintage Journey to see all the other fabulous makes for this challenge. And of course, I hope you find the time to join us too.

Thanks so much for stopping by & have a nice day!
Until Next Time,
Hugs & Love,

Ann
