The Mixed Media Card #19 highlight

Hi everyone,
Hope you have a happy weekend!
I attent a group that ask everyone making any projects using the same stamp set during January. It's a really challenge for me,because I never try it,so I want to record it all . I choosed my new stash Prima "Don't forget to fly" stamp set ! Hope you like it!

I apply Distress Paint to the Craft Sheet, mist the paints with water from a Mini Mister,swipe surface directly through paints several times. Dry the paper. When the first layer of paint is completely dry, tap the paper back on the paints sheet. When it dry, I used stencil and Distress Ink to add the texture.I painted the wing using Twinkling H2O, it's so shining.

The cover of my 2016 journal!

Hi everyone,
I alter the cover of calendar to create a journal for the new year.

I played around with Color Burst powders this time. To make the background, I spritzed the paper with water and dropped the powders on very lightly. Spritzed again and they appear fade effect. Dry the paper and splatter a bit of water on it to get some more interest. I then stamped the girl using my new stash and color it with Twinkling H2O. Finally I used my new stencil, a blending tool and white inks which gives a totally different effect.

I attent a group that ask everyone making any projects using the same stamp set during January. It's a really challenge for me,because I never try it,so I want to record it all . I choosed my new stash Prima "Don't forget to fly" stamp set, because I love butterfly very much! Hope you enjoy it!

I apply Distress Paint to the Craft Sheet, mist the paints with water from a Mini Mister,swipe surface directly through paints several times. Dry the paper. When the first layer of paint is completely dry, tap the paper back on the paints sheet. When it dry, I used Paper Distresser distress the edge, then sew the edge.

I painted the butterfly using Twinkling H2O, it's so shining.

Sweet Friend - Twinkling H2Os acrylic block background
