Guesting at SimonSaysStamp Monday Challenges - Week 5

Hi everyone,
Welcome to my last post and project as a spotlighted guest at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenges this March! I am so honored to be invited to guest with them this month and I would like to say a huge "thank you for inviting me" and let you know how much fun it was to be part of an amazing design team! I really enjoyed it! This week's theme is :

Spring Mood Board

Spring is a pretty season. Spring renews the earth and nature is at its best in spring. I love the spring because the spring is full of vitality, full of new hope! "No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow." I hope everything goes well. Hoping everyone stays safe and healthy.
For the background., I began with the Distress Spray Stain. I sprayed Walnut Stain and Pumice stone and some water to the craft sheet and then dipped the watercolor paper into my craft sheet. When it dry, stamped randomly with Victorian stamp set. Then, I used Layering Stencil Stone Stencil and Texture Paste Opaque Matte to make a broken stone wall. When I wait it dry, I stuck the old book paper to the background. When the Texture Paste was dry, I put the stencil back and blended it with Distress Archival Hickory Smoke ink.

Die-cut and sanding the Watering Can.  Applied alcohol ink to the small piece using a blending tool and applied Archival ink to the surface of Watering Can, then wipe off any excess ink with a paper towel and adhere to the card front. Die-cut the  Tiny Tattered Florals and Garden Greens, assemble the flowers with Glossy Accent Glue and arrange over the Watering Can.

I used Mini Vintage Varsity Alphabet craft die to spell "SPRING". The butterflies are from my stash, they were stamped with Darkroom Door and PaperArtsy's stamp sets. Finally, I stamped a sentiment on the bottom.

As you may know, the Simon Says Stamp Store is accepting new orders, but have longer shipping times for the moment due to the coronavirus. With this in mind, we have made the difficult decision to suspend the $50 voucher for this challenge.
We know that many people are staying safe at home and we would love it if you would continue to enter the challenges and have fun! We are all in this together! You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in.

Guesting at SimonSaysStamp Monday Challenges - Week 4

Hi everyone,
Welcome to my fourth post and project as a spotlighted guest at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenges this March! I am so honored to be invited to guest with them this month and this week's theme is :

Steampunk

To begin, I sprayed the watercolor paper with Distress Oxide Sprays in weathered wood, faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire. When it dry. I stamped the clock from INVENTOR  on the right-hand side with Distress Archival Ink black soot and number from DAPPER on the left-hand side with Distress Ink picket fence. Then, I apply Remnant Rubs to the paper randomly. At the end, I added some splashes from white gesso here and there and distressed the edges with Distress Ink in black soot.

I dry embossing silver metallic cardstock in two different folders and covered it in Distress Paint black soot and wiped off the excess before it dried.

I die-cut gears from chipboard and used Distress Oxide in Rusty hinge to cover them, then I sprayed them with Clear Texture Spray. When they dry, I used Distress Crayons in different brown and black colors.

For the Faceted heart, I covered it with Distress Paint in candied apple and aged mahogany. Sprinkled Chunky Metallic Seasonings Embossing Enamel on the top and heated from underneath. Fold along the score lines and sand the edges. Assemble. I wrapped my Faceted heart with copper wires and stick a gear on the right. The sentiment comes from Tim's Quote Chips.

This card has a lot of dimensions, which you can see here since the heart is pretty dimensional.

Don't forget, if you would like to see more inspiration from the talented teamies over on the challenge blog and every week, one lucky random participant has the chance to win a $50 gift voucher from Simon Says Stamp and you can join in up to 5 times, which means you could have 5 chances to win. Good Luck to everyone! You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in.

Thanks so much for stopping by & have a nice day!
Until Next Time,
Hugs & Love,

Ann

Guesting at SimonSaysStamp Monday Challenges - Week 3

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my third appearance over at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. It's so honored to be as Spotlight Guest Designer.

This week the challenge theme is :

Stencil Fun

I applied embossing ink through Tim Holtz Shifter Burst stencil. Sprinkle with Verdigris Antiquities Powder and emboss. Clean the stencil and line up, now covering the already embossed area. Repeat the process with Rustique Patina Azure Powder. I love this technique, it's so fun.

I used Distress Stain adds directly on surfaces for quick, easy ink coverage. You can also use Distress Spray Stain. Then, I use a baby wipe to gently wipe off the excess ink. I really love the outcome. It popped the hot embossing patterns up.

The image stamp comes from Paper Artsy Lynne Perrella 045. I used Distress Markers to color it.

Finally, I used some old book paper, Ephemera Pack VELLUM THRIFT SHOP, Emporium and CLIPPINGS Stickers to make the layout more interesting. Hope you like it.

Guesting at SimonSaysStamp Monday Challenges - Week 2

Hi everyone,
Welcome to my second post and project as a spotlighted guest at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenges this March! I am so honored to be invited to guest with them this month and this week's theme is :

 A Bit O'Green (St Patrick's Day)

I made a lucky card for my daughter. I started on the background. I used the Wrinkle-Free Technique to make the background. It's so fun.

First, I swiped the Distress inks across the non-stick surface, by lying felt to surface and wipe randomly across. Misted the inks with water until small beads form. Lay the paper into the watered ink to pick up color. Slightly to twist and turn the paper. Take the paper out of ink. Used heat tool to dry the paper. Added more color to the paper by placing it in ink again. To dry paper once again with heat tool. I stamped the background with PapillonThe Professor Stamp set using Hickory Smoke Distress Ink and VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad, but I stamped the professor's suit with Shady Lane and Green Oasis. Then, I colored his face with a Distress Marker. Finally, I distressed and stitched the edge and the background was completed.

I stamped the professor's hat on white cardstock with Shady Lane and Green Oasis. Cut the hat down and adhered to the panel. I die-cut the sentiment with Word Thinlits Die and distress it. Used Brad Screws to secure the word to the bottom of the card. I punched the shamrocks and adhered to the card. I added the clock hands to the hat as the finishing touch.

Don't forget, if you would like to see more inspiration from the talented teamies over on the challenge blog and every week, one lucky random participant has the chance to win a $50 gift voucher from Simon Says Stamp and you can join in up to 5 times, which means you could have 5 chances to win.
