Hi everyone,
I am thrilled beyond words to announce that I am now a creative guide at A Vintage Journey! I'm so honored to be part of this wonderful Creative Guide team!
Secretly, this has been a huge goal of mine and I am so happy! Today is not only the Tag Friday
over at A Vintage Journey but it is my first official post as an AVJ Creative Guide. How exciting!
This is my first Tag Friday, I had some wrinkle-free fun with distress paints and I was really happy with the outcome of this vintage tag.
The Manila Tags was first given a coat of gesso.
Start to tear old book paper and glue them to the tag randomly.
I'd done some wrinkle-free distressing with those colors onto the tag. I really love the outcome.
I Stamped scrollwork
stamp from Tim Holtz, I really love the shape.
I added Idea-ology Design Tape strips and then smeared some Crackle Paste in places.
I used my new Tim Holtz Wildflower Stems die to cut the flower from white card stock and
I also do some blending using the distress oxide inks.
I dabbed the back of transparent wings with white paint to make wings stand out.
I sprayed the ribbon with Distress Spray Stain. I love using colored seam binding, it makes a nice embellishment on tags.
The Idea-ology Small Talk Stickers give me the necessary words to finish things off.
So please hop over to
A Vintage Journey and be inspired by all the beautiful tags the Creative Guides have created this month!
Thanks so much for stopping by & have a nice day!
Until Next Time,
Hugs & Love,
