IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE

WOW! Simon Says Monday Challenge has been going for 12 years!! It's been 9 years since I started this challenge in 2013, winning Designer Spotlight several times and being a guest designer twice. I really feel honored. I made a special card today to congratulate Simon Says Monday Challenge! Hope to keep playing with these awesome designers.

ENJOY THE JOURNEY

Hi everyone, this month， we have a fun Mini Challenge over at More Than Words. 

Here are the challenge details!

Word inspiration: Add the word Journey on your mini projects. We need to see the actual word Journey on your postcards, cards, tags, and ATCs.

I made a card using the suitcase stamp set. Let's start the journey.

 

I stamped and Remnant Rubs randomly on a mist yellow card stock. Stamped a suitcase and colored it with a gold pen and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pen. Added the sentiment and some embellishments as the finishing touch.

ADVENTURE

Hi everyone, this month， we have a fun challenge over at More Than Words. Our art journal challenge has two parts, please use both prompts to inspire you:

Word Inspiration: Adventure

Creative Challenge: Map 

I'm looking forward to seeing what you all come up with...have fun everyone & happy creating!

I envy the backpacker life. I hope one day I can travel the world and experience a life of adventure. 

For the background, I used tissue paper which has a map on it.  , plane, and some ephemera connected with trips.

Apply Distress inks to the surfaces of tissue paper using a blending tool.

Added some Texture Paste through the stencil. 

I stamped the airplane image on the white cardstock and fussy cut it. The earth is Tim Holtz Thinlits Die Cutting Set by Sizzix. I distress the edge using Distress ink.

I die-cut the letters out of chipboard and embossed them with black embossing powder. Finally, I added some ephemera and completed this page.
